I can't get enough of this series. The storylines just keep getting better and better. I feel like each time I'm watching one of my favorite crime/thriller shows. Bryson is a single dad who takes his friends/family and job extremely seriously. He has been a widow for quite some time and is sleep-deprived from being a single dad and working crazy shifts also not being to keep a nanny for periods of time is not helping the situation LOL. Tinely is working hard to get her life to normality where she is content and happy. It's been a struggle because of her history but she's fighting hard. She gets a surprise visit from her brother's best friend (also her crush) her ears are prickling because she's curious. Is Bryson here for me or am I in danger again? This story is full of suspense, were trying to determine who the killer is, or is it, killers? And the more in-depth into the story you start to discover more of Tinely and her horrific past. This is a page-turner from the start! you will not be disappointed.

    This was one of the most intense books I’ve read in awhile. From the prologue to the bonus epilogue, it held my attention.

    I knew Bryson would be a perfect alpha hero. He was so kind and understanding while being the ultimate protector. But I was not prepared for the strength Tinley possessed. She had been through some terrible experiences in her life but still managed to be independent and optimistic. Tinley was just as protective of the people in her life as Bryson was, and that included everyone from her brother to women she’d just met being exploited. She had harbored a crush on Bryson for over ten years and now that he saw her as more than Tallon’s little sister, she got her chance to see where those feelings could lead.

    Even though Bryson was a single dad, Victoria wasn’t a prominent character, but the few scenes she was in were some of the best in this book. Her first interactions with Tinley were so perfect and the ease with which Tinley fell in love with the two year old sealed the deal for me. And Bryson’s mom just added the icing to the cake. Tinley and Bryson both had huge hearts and were perfect for each other and their families, minus Tinley’s manipulative mother, blended just as perfectly.

    This was a great book and I found myself unable to put it down. The romance was perfect and the serial killer really upped the creep factor. It was the perfect blend of suspense and love.

    So as a big fan of Kennedy’s I knew going in that this was going to be awesome. I was not disappointed!! She has a way of making the story just so engaging, the reader is needing to find out what happens next.

    I don’t want to give away any spoilers, so I will just give a general description.

    Bryson, yeah he is the type of guy that you fall hard for. And yep that girl was me. How can you not be? He has been through so much and yet can still be what is needed. Heaven forbid you hurt someone he loves.

    Tinkey, can you say girl crush? I live a strong female lead that is strong and speaks her mind. I feel like I just connected and related with her.

    But then again that is Kennedy’s gift. She writes these characters that we fall for and connect with. Which is what makes her an awesome writer.

    Also I will say the bad is a pretty good one. You are going to hate this dude. Your going to be cheering that he gets his.

    Overall a great read, slightly darker tint to it than her previous one. Which I love, love dark reads so. I would highly recommend this book!

    I went into this book with high expectations and Kennedy Mitchell exceeded them like always with this series. This book has a perfect balance of steamy and story.

    Bryson has been through the ringer and yet he is still gentle hearted and loving, while also being willing to burn the world for the ones he loves.

    Tinley has been through utter hell and she epitomizes picking yourself up by the bootstraps and speaking your mind. Her characters, as always for me, are relatable and attainable in such a realistic way that it makes you feel like you are in the story.

    The villain is the creepiest one yet for me! The prologue had unease settling in me and anxious for the ending to get that guy behind bars.

    This is the first book of the series that leaves the tiniest of cliffhangers to have you chomping at the bit for the next installment! Be mindful of the trigger warnings going in, this installment is darker than previous ones.

    Overall this was a story that I couldn't put down and never wanted to end at the same time!

    So I thought this book was good the narration was perfection. I think the only thing I really struggled with was as the series has gone on it felt more like Lifetime movies. I truly think the biggest eye roll moment was the climax of the story and I don't want to spoil anything so but I just thought all of that was kind of ridiculous. I love Tinley and she was a great character even though she was broken she was strong and I love that. I think the other thing I really struggled with is even though these two characters knew each other for a long time it was very insta love insta family. I also thought there was two chapters in the story that should have been switched around. When she's going to her therapy appointment it starts off from her point of view going under hypnosis and going through everything that happened when she was kidnapped. And then the next chapter is Bryson's chapter and it starts off with them getting to the therapy appointment and meeting the therapist and then talking about the things that she needs to talk about before the hypnosis so that was kind of strange. But overall it was a decent story.

When a murder happens that has similar circumstances her FBI Agent overprotective brother calls in help since he’s out of town her lifetime crush comes to stay with her. These two are perfect for each other. He’s overprotective and super dominant to her scared and unsure personality. Of course the bad guy is coming and things get dicey. This is a action packed, suspenseful and super dominant steamy. Don’t miss this one.

    Mine to Hold is a romantic thriller with some dark creepy scenes, seriously, the serial killer freaked me out 😱
    We’ve met Bryson in the previous book, and I was very excited to read his story (this can be read as a stand-alone, however, I highly recommend reading ALL the books within the series because they’re great!)
    FBI Special Agent Bryson is asked by his best friend Tallon to stay with his little sister for added protection, Tinley has always had a crush on her brothers best friend, as they begin to share an apartment space together, feelings start to heat up. Bryson is a single father and still dealing with a heartbreaking past, he’s a little older than Tinley and has always treated her as the kid sister to his best friend, but being in close proximity questions his thoughts & feelings, with a serial killer getting closer Bryson’s protective nature begins to show.
    Tinley’s dark past returns, the anxiety and tension kicks in and we the reader are taken on a wild thrill ride.
    As usual this story has everything, I’m not usually a fan of age gap or best friends little sister books but the author writes this so well and the suspenseful storyline pull me in, great read! Very much looking forward to the next one featuring Tallon, Jameson and Remy, there’s a slight insight into their story in this book, I’m fanning myself already knowing it’s going to be a heated one! 🤤😍

    I have loved this series so far, but Mine to Hold was in a whole new league of its own. It’s my favourite book by this author.

    Bryson and Tinley’s story had me captivated from start to finish. I was on the edge of my seat with my kindle in a death grip. The suspense was off the charts!
